Thoughts

No plan? No problem!

I didn't have any plans for today - I spent the morning at home, and then randomly decided to walk around town a bit. Days like this can be a bit of a gamble, as they don't always work out. But today was nice. I got into a "flow state" of sorts while taking photos with my phone and had some vague ideas on what I could do with them creatively. I should flesh them out a bit next week.

The Kanda river is surprisingly clean

During my walk, I came across the Kanda river and ended up walking alongside it. It's not a pretty river (at least not in the area I was exploring today), with gigantic concrete walls on both sides. It looks more like a canal. Despite this, the water was surprisingly clear. Maybe it's just because it's very shallow, but I could see the bottom of the riverbed. There were also some wagtails hopping around the water's edge.

Libraries are pretty cool

When getting my new books from the library, I had a short exchange with the lady at the counter. It was just some follow-up question about taking out books, but I felt a faint "human connection." I can't really put it into words why, but it renewed my appreciation for libraries in general and the people who work there.
